Week 11 Six-Man Standouts

Week 11 Six-Man Stand-outs and Top Performances:

Angel Marquez – Veribest – 21 carries 329 yards 10 TDs rushing; 8 tackles
Marquez scored a season high for all of six-man 10 TDs rushing in a single game as his performance helped vault the Veribest Falcons into the playoffs for the first time in school history as they beat Water Valley for the first time ever 105-60 in a game that decided the district runner-up.

Juan Diaz – Sands – 31 carries 409 yards 8 TDs rushing; 8 tackles
Diaz lead the Sands ground attack as the Mustangs won their first district title in 14 years as they defeated Dawson 69-64 in one of the best games of week 11.

Tony Balderas – Avalon – 17 tackles, 5 forced fumbles, 4 fumble recoveries; 2 catches 13 yards 1 TD receiving; 7 carries 27 yards rushing; 1 PAT catch for 1 point
In a defensive battle that crowned the district champion Balderas was in on 17 tackles and forced 5 fumbles and recovered 4 of them as Avalon beat Blum 28-22.
