The half way point of the regular season is upon us. After another week, most teams will begin District play, and the games that really matter. By this time in the year, upsets become fewer, with so many common opponents to reference before hand, but they will always occur. Distractions of Homecoming events and District rivals always claim a few.

As we inch closer to District play, some districts seem all but set in stone as far as playoff representatives, while others are highly questionable. As far as contenders go, the cream seems to be settling at the top in both divisions. In Division I, the West seems decidedly stronger at the top, while in Division 2, there is no question that the East is looking for another title.
