Week 10 Six-Man Top Performances

Week 10 featured a lot of Blow-Outs but still had several key district games that helped make our playoff picture a little clearer.  Next week I will be looking for not only week 11 game stats but season totals as well to get a good picture of the regular season.  Thanks again for sending in stats and getting these players some recognition!  Leman.saunders@gmail.com

Dakota Smith – Loraine – 8 carries 168 yards 5 TDs rushing; 4-9-0 for 89 yards 3 TDs passing; 14 tackles, 2 INTs 1 INT returned for TD, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery

In a big district clash with Highland, Smith scored 5 TDs rushing, threw for 3 more touchdowns, and then forced 3 turnovers on defense and returned one of his 2 interceptions for a touchdown for good measure leading Loraine to a 74-30 win and giving them the district title.

Taron Smith – Milford – 20 carries 416 yards 5 TDs rushing; 7-16-0 for 162 yards 3 TDs passing; 5 tackles

Taron put up yet another big night for Milford with 578 yards of total offense and had a hand in 8 of the 9 touchdowns for the Bulldogs in a hard fought 69-50 win over Oakwood in a game that likely decided the district championship.

Jake Farrell – Oglesby – 11 carries 395 yards 7 TDs rushing

In a big win over Prairie Lea, in a game that will help decide a playoff spot in their district, Farrell scorched the Indian’s defense for 395 yards rushing on just 11 carries and scoring on 7 of them in a big 64-14 win for the Tigers.

Braden Rhode – Fayette County – 5 catches 220 yards 3 TDs receiving; 2 carries 66 yards 2 TDs rushing; 2 KO returns for 90 yards 1 TD; 6 tackles

In a huge game receiving, Rhode averaged 44 yards per catch and scored a total of 6 touchdowns as Fayette County defeated San Antonio Great Hearts Monta Vista 70-20.

Walker Tippie – Richland Springs – 4-4-0 for 121 yards 3 TDs passing; 8 carries 114 yards 3 TDs rushing; 3 tackles

Once again a very officiant night for Tippie as he was 100% passing throwing for touchdowns on 75% of them (3 out of 4 for scores) and had just 8 carries but went over 100 yards on the ground and scored 3 more TDs on the ground in Richland Springs 69-14 win over Fort Worth THESA.

Tristan Garza – Petersburg – 7 carries 172 yards 5 TDs rushing; 1-1-0 for 32 yards 1 TD passing; 8 tackles, 1 fumble recovery

Tristan just played 11 plays on offense and managed to have a hand in touchdowns for the Buffalos in 6 of those plays in their 50-0 win over Southland in district play.
